float: left; margin-bottom: 0em; margin-right: 0em;"&gt;&lt;/div&gt;O que há de primoroso em minha última viagem é poder surpreender as pessoas com o fato de que um estado tão pouco conhecido pode ter uma infinidade tamanha de ingredientes a serem descobertos e utilizados. É esse o meu sentimento com relação ao Acre, onde estive por dez dias pesquisando a fundo não somente a culinária e os costumes da região, mas também vendo de perto como era cultivada sua riqueza de produtos.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;Como resultado, uma tríade baseada em experiências no &lt;b&gt;Brasil a gosto&lt;/b&gt; que é uma verdadeira imersão pelo estado: um menu temático, uma linha de produtos típicos e uma exposição de fotos e artigos de decoração.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;O menu do Acre foi preparado com a matéria-prima fornecida por uma série de agricultores da região. Sem eles não seria possível concretizar mais esse menu temático - o 24º em cinco anos de história do restaurante.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;Como novidade, trouxemos pela primeira vez uma linha de 17 produtos regionais por meio dessa parceria. Os clientes poderão levar para casa alguns dos ingredientes dos pratos degustados, como castanhas, farinhas e feijões locais - uma parte da grande diversidade que existe por lá. Depois de alguns meses, os coronéis reuniam os peões para juntar o gado marcado. Eram as pegas de gado – ou de boi –, que, originalmente, aconteciam nas zonas mais áridas da região. Montados em seus cavalos ligeiros, vestidos com gibões de couro, esses bravos vaqueiros, com valentia e habilidade, se embrenhavam na mata cerrada em busca dos animais, fazendo malabarismos para escaparem dos arranhões de espinhos e pontas de galhos secos. Hoje elevada à categoria de esporte de competição, essa antiga tradição é realizada em arenas fechadas em várias cidades paraibanas, a exemplo do que ocorre em todo o Nordeste.&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="separator" style="clear: both; O nome é uma referência às finas camadas de massa assada, composta de farinha de trigo, leite, margarina ou manteiga e gordura vegetal hidrogenada. Típico alimento do sertão nordestino, esse ingrediente derivado do leite que se mantém líquido em temperatura ambiente e de cor amarelada faz parte do cotidiano e seu marcante sabor pode ser percebido em variados pratos tradicionais da região. As peças criadas pelas mãos hábeis de Antono Felismino de Sousa remetem ao passado e encantam logo à primeira vista. Difícil não fechar os olhos e voltar no tempo diante dos coloridos e alegres brinquedos deste artista paraibano.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="MsoPlainText"&gt;Nascido em Pombal, ele conta que, por falta de dinheiro, começou a fazer os próprios brinquedos. &lt;span&gt;Comecei com caminhões de lata e madeira e, também, com carros de boi. Tinha apenas onze anos, mas a minha curiosidade era g&lt;/span&gt;rande.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="MsoPlainText"&gt;Durante a festa da padroeira da minha cidade, pela primeira vez conheci um parque de diversões, e fiquei fascinado com a roda- gigante. Cheguei em casa e a reproduzi em lata e, depois, em madeira. Com os elogios que recebi dos vizinhos, me senti incentivado a produzir outras peças&lt;span&gt;, lembra Sousa, que mora em Bayeux, cidade próxima da capital, João Pessoa. Nessa cidade, fez seus primeiros estudos e assistiu pela primeira vez a uma peça de mamulengos. A experiência marcou para sempre sua vida e obra. Autor de clássicos da literatura e da dramaturgia como “O Auto da Compadecida”, “ O Santo e a Porca” e “A Pedra do Reino”, seus textos são encenados em todas as regiões brasileiras e fonte de inspiração para adaptações na TV e no cinema. Este é o foco do trabalho minucioso de Joaquim David da Silva Neto, o “Joca dos galos”. Singelas e coloridas, suas figuras de metal recriam, artisticamente, esses animais que ciscam na porta do alpendre das casas do interior e povoam os quintais e as roças da Paraíba. Tudo começou lá mesmo em sua cidade, Araçagi, quando o artista, ex-criador de galos de raça, assistia a um programa de TV, no qual algumas pessoas apresentavam objetos feitos com pedaços de lata. Estimulado pelo que viu, o artesão arregaçou as mangas e começou, ele próprio, a produzir a partir de uma técnica muito particular de reciclagem do metal. Hoje, suas obras são vendidas em feiras e eventos e famosas em todo o país. Nessas cidades, é o principal meio de sustento de centenas de famílias que vivem na zona rural. Hoje líder nacional na produção desta saborosa fruta tropical, a Paraíba colheu, em 2010, cerca de 260 milhões de unidades, conforme indicam as pesquisas do Instituto Brasileiro de Geografia e Estatística (IBGE). Tradicionalmente comemorado em 24 de junho, as homenagens a São João no Nordeste é uma das principais atrações do calendário regional. Na Paraíba, então, os festejos para o santo duram o mês inteiro e levam milhares de pessoas a Campina Grande, que se orgulha de promover “o maior São João do Mundo”. O palco de tanta comemoração é o Parque do Povo, que fica todo enfeitado de bandeirolas coloridas e recebe, durante o período, cerca de 2 milhões de pessoas, que se divertem com quadrilhas, shows, barracas de comidas típicas feitas com milho e, lógico, muito forró. Desde os 7 anos de idade a paraibana Anita Garybaldi de Souza confecciona bonecas e palhaços de pano. Natural de Campina Grande, ela conta que foi com suas primas e avós que aprendeu a costurar. No entanto, o que era lúdico se transformou e, aos 16 anos, a artista passou a produzir e a comercializar suas peças, o que permitiu desenvolver sua técnica e criar novos modelos. Semanalmente, um artista que integra a mostra da Paraíba tem sua arte mostrada no blog. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;O primeiro destaque é a exposição “Pega de Bois”, do fotógrafo paraibano Antonio Ronaldo. As onze fotos foram produzidas em 2006, na cidade de Zabelê, no Cariri da Paraíba, e trazem os vaqueiros, com suas roupas e acessórios de couro, na lida de laçar o gado pela caatinga.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Na região paraibana, as “Pega de Bois” tiveram origem no ciclo do gado do Nordeste. Durante os três meses em que o cardápio estiver disponível no Brasil a gosto, a cada semana um elemento terá destaque no blog. Já na Fazenda Tamanduá, que utiliza agricultura biodinâmica, o produto é orgânico, livre de adubos químicos e agrotóxicos.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"&gt;Altamente nutritivo e de sabor levemente amendoado, apresenta uma quantidade três vezes maior de ferro e duas de zinco que o arroz branco. Em cada visita descubro um ingrediente novo, uma forma de preparo diferente e aprendo coisas que nenhum livro didático pode me ensinar. A última viagem foi à Paraíba, em meados de julho, quando aproveitei para conhecer as famosas festas de São João e realizar minhas pesquisas para lançar o atual menu temático do restaurante Brasil a gosto. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"&gt;E nesse espaço divido meus prazerosos e enriquecedores dias no Estado da Paraíba, conhecido como o lugar no Brasil onde o sol nasce primeiro.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"&gt;Nessa temporada escolhi Campina Grande como base para me hospedar e, a cada dia, visitava uma cidade diferente. O roteiro começou pelo município de Queimadas. Lá estive numa Queijeira para conhecer a produção de queijo manteiga, a manteiga de garrafa e ver como se faz a nata. O almoço foi no restaurante O Bananal. Lá é possível ver o processo de produção do queijo coalho, o plantio do arroz vermelho e o funcionamento de uma fazenda da região.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"&gt;Como era época de festejos, o Parque do Povo, onde se realiza o maior São João do mundo, estava no roteiro de algumas noites com atrações, como o show de Elba Ramalho e a visita ao Sítio São João.
